Tom Pettigrew wins American sociology's highest award for social psychology
Thomas F. Pettigrew, research professor of social psychology at UC Santa Cruz, will receive the Cooley-Mead Award for Lifetime Contributions to Sociological Social Psychology from the American Sociological Association in August. It is American sociology’s highest award for social psychology and will be presented at the association’s annual meeting in San Francisco.
