As you are aware, our campus is conducting a search for a campus provost and executive vice chancellor. At the beginning of April, we plan to have three candidates visit campus "virtually," using remote technology to accommodate the shelter-in-place and social-distancing practices necessitated by COVID-19. You are invited to watch each candidate's public presentation, which will be delivered via Zoom, and to provide feedback to the search committee.
During their visits, candidates will present both a CP/EVC vision talk as well as a scholarly presentation. Both talks will be delivered via Zoom and include moderated Q&A. The Zoom links will be provided closer to the visit date. Both talks will be video-recorded and made available after April 10.
This is your opportunity to participate in the interview process, so I hope you will attend. Public details are included below.
Candidate names and CVs will be available five days prior to their visit. Materials will be placed in a Google folder linked off the CP/EVC search webpage. Please do not share candidate names, CVs or audio recordings outside of the UC Santa Cruz community.
