Dear Colleagues:

Every UC Santa Cruz employee--including student employees--currently receiving a paycheck from UC Santa Cruz will be affected when UCPath “goes live” on our campus in January 2020.

All employees are encouraged to take action and prepare (see Oct.9 announcement).

Not Currently Using Direct Deposit?

Any employees not currently using direct deposit for their paychecks are urged to take these steps to avoid January pay delays associated with receiving paper checks at home addresses

By Friday, November 15

- Log in to At Your Service Online (AYSO) and

- If possible for you, sign up for direct deposit by Nov. 15 in order for it to be effective for January 2020 paychecks.

Timesheet Deadlines

Employee timesheets will need to be submitted and approved in CruzPay earlier in November and December to avoid missed pay. Visit the CruzPay webpage for the accelerated timeline

Automatic Payroll Deductions for Transportation & Parking Services (TAPS)

Automatic payroll deductions for TAPS (e.g., parking permits, bus passes, van pools, etc.) are also affected by the UCPath implementation. Any TAPS related payroll deduction changes need to be made before November 22. TAPS will not be able to change payroll deductions in the month of December. Please see this TAPS announcement and email TAPS with questions.
