The Police Department and Information Technology Services want to take this opportunity to warn you about recently reported IRS and PG&E scams.

All electrical power to Quarry Plaza and to the Classroom Building has been restored as of Sunday 3/2 at around 1:50 pm.

It now appears that regular power will not be restored to Quarry Plaza until Sunday evening at the earliest.

The campus Zipcar fleet is expanding to ten vehicles and UCSC students, staff, and faculty interested in becoming members can take advantage of Zipcar’s latest promotion.

We are very pleased to report that the University of California and AFSCME reached a tentative agreement late last night that covers more than 8,300 service workers systemwide, including approximately 500 of our own employees.

In recognition of the variety of changes made to medical plans this year, UC employees now have the opportunity to change to a different medical plan until March 31, 2014.
