Notice of Open Comment: UC Santa Cruz Key Control Policy
The Division of Finance, Operations, and Administration (FOA) is accepting comments on proposed updates to the Key Control policy.
Dear Campus Community,
The Division of Finance, Operations, and Administration (FOA) is accepting comments on proposed updates to the Key Control policy. The revisions include:
- Updates to the security requirements and moved them to section III.A
- Added items 6-8 in section III.D.
- Removed deposits from section III.E.
- Added electronic access control platforms
- Removed the related procedures (Obtaining and Returning Keys to Campus Facilities, SPS 0002)
- Added lost key procedures
- and made minor technical changes for clarity.
Comments may be submitted to the Policy Coordination Office at pco@ucsc.edu through March 06, 2026.
