Nominations open for the 2025 Women’s Gala Awards Ceremony

Nominations are now open for UC Santa Cruz’s 2025 Women’s Gala Awards, celebrating leaders advancing women’s empowerment, equity, and community impact.

Nominations are now open for the annual Women’s Gala Awards Ceremony, an inspiring celebration recognizing leaders who have made meaningful contributions to the women’s community.

Held each year in honor of Women’s History Month, the gala brings together students, staff, faculty, and alumni for an evening that uplifts and celebrates the diverse achievements of women across campus and beyond. This year’s event will take place on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 6–9 p.m.

Awards will be presented in categories that span the breadth of the UC Santa Cruz community, including Alumni, Arts, Athlete, Collaborator, Engineering, Feminist Leader, Graduate Student, Humanities, Legacy, Mentor, Researcher, Residential Assistant, Sciences, Small Business Owner, Social Sciences, Staff Award, Student Parent, Student Researcher, and Teacher’s Assistant.

In addition to award presentations, the evening will feature guest speakers and opportunities for networking, reflection, and celebration—fostering an inclusive environment that honors women’s leadership and promotes solidarity across disciplines and identities.

Nominations are due by Friday, November 7, 2025.
