All-County Clean Up Day on May 10

The 2nd Annual All-County Clean Up Day is on May 10. Last year, a group of students picked up litter at a local beach. This year, the UC Santa Cruz Sustainability Department will be hosting an on-campus event from 10a-12p that you can join.

April was National Volunteer Appreciation Month, a time to celebrate and recognize the contributions volunteers make in their communities. Our community partner, Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County, provided us with data on volunteers from UC Santa Cruz who volunteered through their organization. To date, 159 active campus-affiliated volunteers are currently donating their time, skills, and energy to giving back to their community. Thank you to our volunteers!

If you were unable to participate in volunteerism during the month of April, you can be part of the 2nd Annual All-County Clean Up Day on May 10th. Last year, a group of UCSC students picked up litter at a local beach. This year, the UC Santa Cruz Sustainability Department will be hosting an on-campus event from 10a-12p that you can join.
