We are writing with a reminder and an important update on Adobe Creative Cloud: 

Activating Adobe Creative Cloud software

As a reminder, if you need to use Adobe Creative Cloud software (including Acrobat Pro installed on your device), you must activate your license using your UCSC account and reactivate quarterly. See activation instructions on the ITS website for more information.

Please DO NOT purchase an Adobe Creative Cloud license

UCSC provides Adobe Creative Cloud at no charge to all active faculty, staff, and students. If your license is not yet active you may be prompted by Adobe to subscribe or purchase a license—please do not do this. A license is not required to view PDFs but is necessary to use additional features or products in the Creative Cloud Suite. Please ignore the Adobe prompts and continue using Acrobat as a PDF viewer, or visit the ITS website to activate your license from the Adobe Creative Cloud service page
