Dear Campus Community,
In accordance with University policy (Regents Policy 7702), I have appointed a confidential committee to conduct the five-year leadership development assessment of Campus Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor (CP/EVC) Lori Kletzer, an office that she has held since June 1, 2020. I invite you to participate in this review by completing a survey designed to allow confidential feedback regarding CP/EVC Kletzer’s past leadership performance and potential for future success.
The Campus Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor reports to the Chancellor and serves as the chief academic officer. The CP/EVC develops long-term academic plans and in conjunction with the Chancellor, is responsible for articulating and implementing the campus vision and priorities, including improving graduation rates and closing achievement gaps, supporting assessment and continuous improvement, enhancing the campus research profile, and acting on an enduring commitment to achieving excellence through diversity of faculty, students, staff and ideas. Please note that you only need to respond to the sections of the survey where you have had relevant interactions with CP/EVC Kletzer. Please type in N/A where applicable. Please do not share this link with anyone outside of UCSC.
Please complete the survey no later than January 31, 2025.
Leadership development assessments are confidential. The subject of the assessment can receive a comprehensive summary of confidential evaluations with survey participant information removed.
