Please know that your supervisors are here to support you, whether that means discussing and requesting adjustments to your schedule, requesting time off, or connecting you with additional resources. Open communication can help ensure that we meet our responsibilities while prioritizing personal well-being.
Additionally, consider setting aside time for self-care, whether it’s stepping away from screens, practicing mindfulness, connecting with loved ones, or simply taking a break. These small acts can make a big difference. Some available resources include:
- Employee Assistance Program
- Individual Coaching Sessions with On the Margins
- On November 6, the day after the election, the University Center Sentinel Room will be open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. for dropping in and connecting with colleagues. Refreshments will be provided. A provider from the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Critical Incident Stress Management team will be onsite and available to speak with staff who wish to connect as well.
In community,
Kamala and John
