Today we officially kick off this year’s UC Santa Cruz employee campaign in support of United Way of Santa Cruz County. Our 2024-2025 campaign, United We Thrive, highlights the collective power we have when we come together to build a stronger, more resilient community. United Way is dedicated to advancing equity, creating opportunities, and improving lives through diverse programs that benefit individuals and families across our county.
Thanks to the generous support of donors and advocates like you, United Way of Santa Cruz continues to expand its reach with impactful new initiatives. The United for Youth Initiative pairs middle and high school students with adult mentors to co-create programs addressing their unique needs. Additionally, the 211 Program connects community members with essential services, including housing, food, healthcare, mental health resources, legal assistance, and more.
How You Can Make a Difference: Even a small contribution can make a significant impact in the local Santa Cruz community. Every dollar raised stays here, directly benefiting the programs and services that support our neighbors, including fellow members of the UC Santa Cruz community.
- If you participated in last year’s campaign through payroll deduction, your annual contribution will automatically roll over into the 2024-2025 campaign at the same donation level.
- If you’re new to the campaign or considering increasing your gift, you can easily make a new pledge. Choose a recurring deduction per pay period or make a one-time contribution.

- Fill out the Workplace Pledge Card at the bottom of the page.
- Choose Payroll Deduction, Pledge by Card, Check, or Continue my Giving.
