UC Santa Cruz Center for Coastal Climate Resilience (CCCR) and California Ocean Science Trust will be co-hosting an event at New York Climate Week on policy and finance tools to accelerate nature-based solutions for climate adaptation.
The half day event on Thu Sep 26th at Cornell Tech, will highlight key examples from California and across the nation and discuss new approaches for building coastal resilience with nature based solutions.
Director for CCCR, Michael W Beck and Senior Fellow at CCCR, Heather Tallis will participate in a series of keynote and panel discussions with representatives from FEMA, Ocean Risk and Resilience Action Alliance (ORRAA) and Vermont Climate Action Office.
