The Division of Finance, Operations, and Administration is planning improvements to parking management through a user-friendly technology that will eliminate hard copy permits. As required by law, public agencies using ALPR Information must implement a usage and privacy policy in order to ensure that the collection, use, maintenance, sharing, and dissemination of Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) information is consistent with respect for individuals’ privacy and civil liberties. The Division is inviting comments on the proposed Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) policy through April 5, 2024.
