Dear Faculty Members,
I write to invite you to apply for the Leading the Change Collaborative Series. This series will support approximately two events per quarter from Spring 2024 through Winter 2025 that provide opportunities for collaborative, interdisciplinary conversations. The request for proposals is available at this link. We will accept applications through February 2, 2024 . Successful applicants will be responsible for all aspects of programming the events and facilitating broad participation. Funding and logistical support for venues, catering and other needs will be provided.
This series is responsive to several goals and needs outlined in Leading the Change: The UC Santa Cruz Strategic Plan, particularly calls for ensuring our research community has opportunities to collaborate across disciplines and in ways that promote community, such as over food and in a variety of environments. We hope this series will be one element of a year of celebration and engagement around our current and growing research strengths and support strengthening our community and our ability to work together across divisions.
