Campus to eliminate enrollment adjustment fees effective January

UC Santa Cruz is eliminating three long-standing enrollment adjustment fees, including the $10 Removal of Incomplete Fee.

“Advancing student success means removing financial barriers faced by students, when possible. While these are small charges, we know they can add up and impact students already facing academic or life challenges,” said Chancellor Cynthia Larive and Campus Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Lori Kletzer.

The University Registrar, Student Union Assembly, and Academic Senate Committee on Educational Policy reviewed and requested eliminating these fees, and this was promptly endorsed by campus leadership. The three $10 fees are: Removal of Incomplete, Add or Credit By Petition, and Change of Study. The changes will be effective January 2024.
