Undergraduate research funding available through Learning-Aligned Employment Program (LAEP)

Program provides 100% funding for on-campus, research-focused employment

After a successful pilot, Career Success is launching the Learning-Aligned Employment Program (LAEP) for Fall 2023. LAEP is a form of work-study that funds 100% of eligible student wages for on-campus, research-focused employment. Research is not limited to STEM and can take place outside of an academic discipline as long as a staff or faculty member serves as the research mentor.

We encourage you to submit a LAEP job posting request for any research-based opportunities you think may qualify for LAEP for the 2023-2024 academic year. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and approved LAEP jobs can begin on or after September 23, 2023 and end by June 13, 2024 (LAEP jobs cannot be funded during summer).

The LAEP coordinator will be holding Info Sessions about LAEP and how to get involved. See the table below for session dates and details. Click here to register for one of the info sessions. We will be recording the sessions if you are unable to attend and will share the recording on our website.
