Expansion of Pay for Family Care and Bonding (PFCB) Program for eligible employees

UC’s Pay for Family Care and Bonding (PFCB) program, introduced on July 1, 2021, as part of UC’s commitment to family-friendly policies, programs and benefits, is expanding. Effective December 25, 2022 for bi-weekly paid employees and January 1, 2023 for monthly paid employees, the PFCB income replacement will increase from 70% to 100% of eligible earnings for employees eligible to participate in the program.
