UC Santa Cruz Summer Session courses are now listed at summer.ucsc.edu. More classes will be added as the list is updated throughout winter quarter. Next summer will continue to offer a wide array of in-person and online courses making the optional fourth quarter more accessible to all students.
There are hundreds of choices, from foundational courses in math and science, including the popular Calculus and Organic Chemistry series, to hands-on classes like Improvisation, Creative Writing, and Figure Painting. Students can build their resumes with opportunities like service learning and internships.
“We have a great lineup of summer course offerings. Whether students use classes to graduate in three years, double major, or complete a prerequisite, there are so many options,” said Monica Parikh, director of Summer Session. “Many slugs have work schedules or travel plans or can’t afford to live in Santa Cruz all year long. We have a range of online synchronous and asynchronous courses that still allow them to meet their academic goals.”
Summer is the only time anyone can take classes at UC Santa Cruz. On-campus housing is available. Enrollment opens for all students on May 1.
Information and course offerings are at summer.ucsc.edu.
