Dear UCSC Community,
It is with great sadness that we share news about the death of ITS staff member, Stuart Camenson. Stuart has been identified as a victim in the tragic Watsonville plane crash last week.
Stuart graduated from UC Santa Cruz with degrees in chemistry and Earth sciences and went on to work in our Division of Information Technology as an information systems analyst. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
This sad news impacts everyone differently and campus resources are available to support those mourning the loss of Stuart.
Update: Cabrillo College is hosting a memorial for Stuart Camenson on Sunday, October 16th at 3:30 p.m. at Cabrillo College Samper Recital Hall with a reception to follow at 5:30 p.m. at Cabrillo College Horticulture. No RSVP is necessary. This is a free event, though there is a capacity limit at Samper Recital Hall. To monitor capacity, free tickets will be available at the box office starting 1 hour before the event on the day of the event.
