21/22 Annual Performance Evaluations coming due

Managers/supervisors should complete the annual evaluations for their non-represented and represented staff to build on our culture of engagement, to provide ongoing support and encouragement and to document any performance concerns that may exist.

Due Date for Non-Represented Employees

Annual performance evaluations for non-represented employees are due by Friday, July 29, 2022.

Due Date for Represented Employees

Annual performance evaluations for represented employees are due by Wednesday, August 31, 2022.

How to Find your Evaluations

To see the performance evaluations assigned to you, please take the following steps:

  1. Go to https://ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu
  2. Log in with your CruzID and gold password
  3. In the left navigation panel, click Performance Workcenter
  4. Under the Manager Self Service section, click on the Teams Current Performance Docs link
Employee Self-Evaluations

In accordance with your Divisional practice, please encourage your employees to complete self-evaluations and provide a sufficient amount of time for them to be completed.

Important Note about Low Scoring Evaluations

As a reminder, ePerformance does not automatically notify Employee Relations (ER) if a supervisor submits a low-rated performance evaluation. As a result, you must notify your ER Analyst if you plan to rate an employee with an overall rating of less than Met Expectations prior to submitting the performance evaluation.

Training Opportunities still available

Employee & Labor Relations still has Zoom training sessions available now through July 13, 2022, for annual performance evaluations, including ePerformance tool navigation training and Completing the Manager Evaluations.

ePerformance “Tool Navigation” Training is focused on tool navigation only for new managers and supervisors or those who want a full review of the ePerformance tool and is being offered on a limited basis. **Please note that the Tool Navigation training is a prerequisite for all ePerformance Administrators.

ePerformance “Completing the Manager Evaluation” Training is a hands-on session which primarily focuses on content writing for evaluations, which occurs after supervisors have already defined the criteria in their employees evaluation. Prior to attending the ePerformance “Completing the Manager Evaluation” training session, managers and supervisors should define criteria for their employee evaluations to optimize opportunities for hands-on guidance.
