UC Santa Cruz releases final Environmental Impact Report for LRDP

UC Santa Cruz has released the Final Environmental Impact Report that supports the proposed 2021 Long Range Development Plan.

A hard copy of the Final EIR is available for viewing upon request by contacting the Physical and Environmental Planning Services Department at UC Santa Cruz at pep@ucsc.edu.

The proposed 2021 LRDP lays out a framework for the campus’ land use for the next twenty years and reflects over four years of collaboration with campus and community members.

The proposed 2021 LRDP will be considered for approval, and the Final EIR will be considered for certification at the University of California Regents meeting on September 28-30, 2021. The meeting agenda is available online, in addition to more information about UC Regents meetings.

After several years of public input and collaboration during the planning process, UC Santa Cruz released a draft of its LRDP and environmental impact report in January 2021 for a 60-day review period. The campus presented the draft 2021 LRDP to Regents as an information item in July.
