The Dean of Students Office is pleased to announce the 2021 Campus Elections process. Students, staff, and faculty will have the opportunity to propose new or amended campus based fees, amendments to the Student Union Assembly (SUA) Constitution, or opinion polls.
If you are interested in proposing an initiative for the 2021 Campus Elections ballot, please plan on attending the upcoming orientation session, offered via Zoom on Tuesday 12/1/2020 from 1:00-2:30 pm. The session will provide an overview of the Campus Elections process, timeline, and policies. Attendees will also receive resources and guidance on how to author a referendum, opinion poll, or amendment. If a team of students is working in collaboration with a campus administrative unit, we encourage you to invite multiple members of the team to attend an orientation session.
Please register for the orientation session by no later than 12:30 pm on Tuesday 12/1/2020. Registrants will be sent the login information for the Zoom meeting.
If you cannot attend the session, don’t worry! A video recording of the session will be posted to the Campus Elections website. Please note, however, it is mandatory to attend or view the video of the session if you plan to propose an initiative.
