Yesterday’s employee housing survey email

To: UC Santa Cruz Faculty and Staff

From: Sarah Latham, Vice Chancellor, Business and Administrative Services

You all should have received two emails yesterday afternoon about our new housing survey, which provides an opportunity to provide important feedback on your housing experience and preferences.

Unfortunately, the email came with a warning message indicating that it might be malicious. This occurred due to some technical issues that we are working to resolve. I am sorry for the alarm it may have caused you. I assure you that the email is safe and encourage you to find it in your Gmail account so that you can participate. The email’s subject line is “We want your Feedback on New Housing,” and searching in Gmail should resurface the email. If you are unable to locate this email or feel uncomfortable proceeding with the survey due to the warning, you will also receive reminder emails in the next couple of weeks after the technical issues have been resolved.

The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. All information that you provide is strictly confidential. No individual responses will be identified.  Please complete the survey by Wednesday, Feb. 19.

Should you have any questions about the survey, please contact, Brailsford & Dunlavey, the consultant administering the survey on behalf of the campus at the following email address: survey@bdconnect.com. As an alternative, you may also contact Traci Ferdolage, our associate vice chancellor of Physical Planning, Development & Operations, to further discuss. She and her team are responsible for leading efforts related to planning for future employee housing.

Thank you for taking the time to participate and provide your feedback. It is a critical element of our ability to expand the housing available to support our employees.
