The Dean of Students Office is pleased to announce the 2020 Campus Elections process. Students, staff, and faculty will have the opportunity to propose new or amended campus based fees, amendments to the Student Union Assembly (SUA) Constitution, or opinion polls.
If you are interested in proposing an initiative for the 2020 ballot, please mark your calendars for the upcoming orientation sessions for those interested in authoring a student fee referendum, SUA Constitutional Amendment or opinion poll on the Spring 2020 Campus Elections ballot. It is mandatory to attend one of these sessions if you plan to propose an initiative. Please note: No make-up sessions will be offered.
Each orientation session will provide an overview of the Campus Elections process, timeline, and policies. Attendees will also receive resources and guidance on how to author a referendum, opinion poll, or amendment. If a team of students is working in collaboration with a campus administrative unit, we encourage you to invite multiple members of the team to attend an orientation session.
The following orientation sessions are available:
- Thursday 11/7/2019 | 3:00 - 4:30 pm | Financial Aid Conference Room, Hahn #20
- NEW DATE - Tuesday 11/12/2019 | 5:00 - 6:30 pm | Financial Aid Conference Room, Hahn #201
