I am very pleased to announce that Dan Henderson has been appointed to the position of Director of Transportation and Parking Services. Dan will assume this new assignment on July 1, 2019.
A graduate of UC Santa Cruz, Dan is an experienced leader with a breadth of knowledge and expertise in transportation and parking operations. He has spent over 10 years in professional transportation, parking, and event management, including many years leading traffic and parking management at Candlestick and Levi Stadiums. More recently, Dan has served as the Associate Director, TAPS and as the Interim Director TAPS since January, 2019. I am very pleased to make this announcement as I believe Dan has the operational experience, proven leadership capacity and ability to foster a customer focused and sustainable transit and parking program to support the campus mission.
I also want to extend my thanks to the Search Committee that included; Nader Oweis, Sandy Vargas, Traci Ferdolage, Cathy Crowe, Adam Millard-Ball. The team worked efficiently and collaboratively in supporting the recruitment and selection process.
