OPERS
The Wellness Center at OPERS will be open starting at 6:30 a.m. and will remain open pending adaquate staffing. Patrons should enter at the gate next to the Wellness Center. The rest of OPERS, including the West Field House, will be closed because of the strike.
Student Health Center
Student Health Services will be open with limited services available. Our lab will be closed for self directed STI testing today.
Transportation and Parking Services
TAPS will give highest priority to providing Disability Van Service (DVS) clients transport between on-campus locations while suspending the Bike Shuttle and regular Loop and Upper Campus shuttle services.
Depending on the number of drivers that report to work, TAPS may be able to run a minimal level of shuttle service, and a limited number of smaller, volunteer-based vehicles will be on-hand to supplement this service. Other options include Lyft, Uber, Zipcars, JUMP bikes, providing or sharing a ride with a friend or connecting with someone through Zimride, biking, or walking when able.
We anticipate that METRO routes serving the campus will drop passengers off at the base of campus only and will then detour around the Bay/High intersection, with buses laying-over on Meder and Cardiff streets to maintain their regular service schedules.
