The California Department of Parks and Recreation with assistance from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection plan to begin a prescribed burn at Wilder Ranch State Park starting today (Monday, Nov. 26) as conditions allow.
This prescribed burn is being conducted to reduce the threat of wildfire and to enhance natural resources within the park. Some trails may be closed briefly during these operations to ensure public safety. Read the full news release.
