It is with deep sadness that we write to tell you the death of Armando Luis Calderon. Armando served at UC Santa Cruz as an assistant cook for Dining Services since September 2003. Before becoming a UC employee, he had previously worked on campus for Sodexho. Notification of Armando’s passing came from his daughter, Norma Luis Delgado, who currently works for UCSC Dining. Armando’s son also previously worked for UCSC. Armando is survived by his spouse, Felicitas Delgado, his three children, and grandchildren.
The Dining and greater campus community mourn his loss.
