Patricia “Trish” Virgadamo, a UC Santa Cruz human resources representative for 18 years from 1986 to 2004, passed away June 30, 2017.
Friends who knew Trish will remember her as a passionate person who especially delighted in counseling expectant mothers working for UCSC on leave and health plan options. She kept a poster board in her office with photos of “her” UCSC babies.
Co-workers will remember her starting off the Friday workday singing the “Friday” song from the old Mickey Mouse Club show to get the day started with a smile. Her spirited personality and love of conversations about education, history, food and her beloved family will be deeply missed.
