Winter meditation schedule, special session set for Jan. 19

UC Santa Cruz will continue to offer meditation sessions four days a week in locations spread across campus and at the Scotts Valley Center. The sessions begin Jan. 9, unless otherwise noted.

Additionally, a special meditation session will be held from 12:10–12:50 p.m. on Jan. 19 in the Cowell Conference Room.

The sessions are free and open to faculty, staff, and students. No prior meditation experience is needed. The exercises are nondenominational and secular.

Each one will be about five minutes of introduction, 15–20 minutes of silent sitting or sitting and movement, and conclude with five minutes of questions and answers.
