Seeking community assistance — bicycle collision

At 8:55 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, a solo bicycle collision occurred on Hagar Drive, just south of McLaughlin Drive, in the area of the Bay Tree Bookstore. The cyclist was seriously injured and remains in serious condition at a Bay Area hospital.

The UC Santa Cruz Police Department is seeking community assistance with any information that may lead to the cause of the accident, including information from witnesses to the accident, or involved parties.
