OPERS Fest will be held on the OPERS East Field on Tuesday, September 20th from 3pm-6pm. OPERS Fest, formerly known as the Fall Festival, is an annual event to introduce students to the wide variety of activities and organizations at UC Santa Cruz. All dining halls will be closed, as most on-campus students attend and eat dinner. Expected attendance should exceed 6,000 people.
Those who usually travel on Hagar Drive between McLaughlin Drive and the East Remote Parking Lot should be advised that there will be a high volume of pedestrians along Hagar between 2pm-6:30pm. In addition, the East Field Service Road will be one way (northbound) from 12:30pm to 2:45pm near the Wellness Center, and closed to all vehicles from 2:45 pm until 6:30pm.
