Meditation sessions open to campus community

Beginning Sept. 26, UC Santa Cruz will offer meditation sessions three days a week in locations spread across campus and at the Shaffer Road building.

The sessions are free and open to faculty, staff, and students. No prior meditation experience is needed. The exercises are nondenominational and secular.

Each one will be about five minutes of introduction, 15–20 minutes of silent sitting or sitting and movement, and conclude with five minutes of questions and answers.
