During community forums in April about the Cowell and Stevenson coffee shops, several participants shared the idea of creating an advisory committee to help inform operations of the coffee shops.
Since then an advisory committee has been formed with student and faculty/staff representatives solicited from Cowell College and Stevenson College. The committee's first order of business included the creation and distribution of a campus-wide survey. The committee hopes students, staff, and faculty will respond and provide valuable feedback on topics that will be considered in future planning, such as hours of operation, menu items, atmosphere, etc.
The committee also recommended the creation of a webpage to provide updates and information regarding the coffee shops. Once the survey concludes, the committee will review and post the feedback and data to the webpage.
