Deadline for cyber security awareness training remains Jan. 31

To: UC Santa Cruz Staff and Faculty

From: UC Learning Center Support Team

Last night, the UC Learning Center sent out a notification saying the due date for the Cyber Security Awareness training had been changed from Jan. 31, 2016 to Dec. 8, 2015. With this new (and incorrect) due date, everyone who had not yet completed the training was told they were overdue. The correct date remains Jan. 31, 2016.

We have found the source of this error and have corrected it, so no further errant overdue notices should be sent.

We apologize for this inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we resolve this mistake.

If you experience trouble with the training or access problems, please contact learningcenter@ucsc.edu.
