As Chair for the Assistant Vice Chancellor Staff Human Resources (AVC SHR) Search Committee, I am writing to invite your participation in the interview process for this position.

Reporting directly to the Vice Chancellor of Business and Administrative Services (BAS), the Assistant Vice Chancellor, Staff Human Resources (AVC SHR) is the chief staff human resources officer (CHRO) at UCSC in a time of significant organizational change. Working with senior leadership, the AVC SHR will lead, develop and manage progressive human resources services, programs and systems aligned with the university mission of teaching, research and public service.
