Working on behalf of the Campus Provost/Executive Vice Chancellor, the SIO is the senior academic administrator charged with providing campus-wide leadership in the planning and executive of programs that increase international student recruitment, international student success, and UC Santa Cruz's international presence. The SIO will report to the Vice Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Education. The SIO serves as executive leader of the International Education Office and of programs and issues related to matriculated international students; inbound and outbound international experiences; and student-focused international initiatives involving curricula and academic collaboration.
