In a campus message last week, Chancellor Blumenthal and Campus Provost/EVC Galloway shared information about systemwide strike activities announced for UC campuses on Wednesday and Thursday, April 2 and 3.
It is unknown how this strike will impact the operation of our campus. But this is a reminder to please stay informed about impacts strike activities have on campus operations.
Information about those impacts will be posted throughout the day on Wednesday and Thursday on the campus web site. Please check the campus home page or go directly to a strike information web site for information about transportation, dining, and other many services that could be impacted.
In addition to updating that web page as information warrants, the Public Affairs Office will be:
• Recording information on the campus's communications hotline, 459-INFO (831-459-4636).
• Relaying information on a regular basis to KZSC Radio (88.1 FM) for broadcast.
• Sharing information via Twitter (twitter.com/ucsc).

Please check one or more of those communication channels before coming to campus on Wednesday and Thursday — and please continue to monitor them throughout each day.
