Tuesday, March 4, 8 pm: The UAW, representing UCSC graduate student employees, has called off a strike it had announced for Wednesday, March 5. The campus and UAW reached an agreement tonight on the resolution of two union grievances — prompting the union to rescind its call for a one-day strike. See campus message.
Monday, March 3, 4 pm: There are no updates to post on this matter today. Please make sure you return to this site before coming to campus on Wednesday, March 5.

UC Santa Cruz has been informed that strike activities may occur on campus on Wednesday, March 5.
In advance of Wednesday, please monitor this web site — which will be accessible via a link on the UCSC home page — to determine if strike activities are expected. If they occur, please stay informed about the impacts strike activities have on campus operations.
If there are specific impacts to services, they will be described in updates on service "status" pages, at left.
