Bruce Rosenblum, professor emeritus of physics at UCSC, died on February 9, 2014, in Santa Cruz. He was 87. Rosenblum earned his B.S. at New York University and a Ph.D. in physics at Columbia University. In addition to teaching physics, Rosenblum taught courses in entrepreneurship in the UCSC Economics Department. He had extensive experience working in industry and taught a course on "The physicist in industry" for the applied physics program. Rosenblum joined the UCSC faculty in 1966 and retired in 2003.
