Changes to Main Entrance Kiosk functions and staffing

Beginning Monday, March 4, 2013, the function of the Main Entrance Kiosk will change on weekday afternoons. From 7:00am–1:00pm, TAPS staff will continue to sell daily permits to visitors and employees, as well as issue pre-paid permits and provide directions. From 1:00-4:00pm, student employees will staff the Kiosk, issuing pre-paid permits to guests, and offering information and directions. Those needing to purchase any type of permit after 1:00pm can do so at the TAPS Sales Office in H Barn. The Kiosk will close at 4:00pm, but the Sales Office will continue to remain open until 5:00pm. Making these changes will allow us to provide better customer service in the afternoons, especially when illness and vacations occur.
 
If you are expecting guests after 1:00pm, there are several options available to provide them with parking permits:

• Pre-pay for guest permits and have them held at the Kiosk. This can range from one permit in an envelope to an on-going inventory of pre-paid permits. Contact the Sales Office (459-4543) for more information about this service.
• If you are hosting an event and expect more than ten cars, contact staff at TAPS Event Parking Services at 459-1097 or use their online form. They can help you plan where your guests should park, and can arrange for parking attendants to sell or issue permits at no cost to you.
• The TAPS Sales Office in H Barn will be open and fully staffed from 7:00am–5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
