Incident:
On February 17, 2013, at 12:26PM, a rape by force occurred in a wooded area of campus on a path between the Upper Quarry Amphitheater and the Classroom Unit buildings.

The victim, who was visiting the campus, was walking alone when she was attacked by a stranger. The suspect sexually assaulted the victim and battered her.

The solo suspect is described as a white male adult, 30 to 40 years of age, pale colored skin with a round shaped face. He is approximately 5'-10" to 5'-11" tall, weighs at least 200 lbs. with a muscular-stocky build. The suspect has dark black, medium length hair, green eyes, and a dark black large growth full mustache goatee combination.

The suspect wore a dark blue t-shirt with writing of an unknown type on the front, dark blue Levi-type jeans, and a black belt with a silver colored buckle. The suspect wore Oakley style sunglasses on top of his head. He has a tattoo (unknown design) on the upper right shoulder-bicep area, which was covered mostly by the t-shirt sleeve. The suspect spoke with a deep growl sounding voice and smelled of cigarettes.

The suspect did not appear to be armed with a weapon during the attack.

After the assault, the suspect fled on foot toward Steinhart Way, in the area between Quarry Plaza and McHenry Library.
