There will be three finalist candidates for the position of Assistant Vice Chancellor (AVC) for Staff Human Resources (SHR) who will be visiting campus in the coming weeks. The campus community will have the opportunity to meet these finalists during an open forum held during each visit, and participants are encouraged to provide confidential input to the search committee.

The AVC SHR is the senior staff human resources executive at UCSC in a time of significant organizational change and will lead the campus implementation of the new UCPath program. Working with senior leadership, the AVC SHR will lead, develop and manage progressive human resource services, programs, and systems aligned with the university mission of teaching, research and public service. This person will also continue to advance the campus vision for being the “employer of choice” for our region.
