Public comment period on UC protest report

To: UCSC Community

From: Alison Galloway, campus provost/executive vice chancellor

I want to make sure you are aware that UC Office of the President has posted the draft report regarding campus protests, and requested comments be submitted no later than June 8.

Charles Robinson, UC general counsel, and Christopher Edley Jr., dean of the UC Berkeley Law School, encourage all members of the UC community (faculty, staff, students, alumni and retirees) to share their views and ideas about the report and its recommendations about how the university should handle campus protests. Members of the general public with an interest in this subject may also comment on the draft report.

All comments will be shared with Robinson and Edley, and will help inform the report submitted to UC President Mark Yudof.

You may read the report at http://campusprotestreport.universityofcalifornia.edu/. If you choose to submit a comment, you can also do so from that site.

Thank you.
