The Student Union Assembly (SUA) invites all undergraduate and graduate students to participate in a budget forum with campus leadership. There will be a brief presentation by CP/EVC Alison Galloway followed by an extensive Q&A session. Come learn about how our campus will be effected by budget cuts, following the Governor's May Revise.
When: Monday, May 21
Time: 6-7 pm
Where: Redwood Lounge (next to e2 and the Bike Coop)
Light refreshments will be provided.
Bring your questions and ideas about:
• Services and programs that are most important to you and what you think makes the greatest impact for a positive student experience.
• Ideas about how the CP/EVC's office and campus administration can better share budget information with students and how we can engage more students in the process. Email messages? Web sites? Facebook and social media? Town halls and forums? Other ideas?
• Student fees and campus-based fees specific to UCSC. Do students understand these fees, and if not, how can we help inform students, and what are the topics you want to know more about?
If you cannot attend the actual event, please feel free to post your questions and responses to the questions above on this Facebook page:
