UC president responds to ‘May revise’ of California budget
University of California President Mark Yudof says the “all-cuts” budget scenario described in Governor Brown’s revised 2011-12 California budget would double the UC system’s cut, to $1 billion. “A cut of this magnitude would be unconscionable — to the university, its students and families, and to the state that it has served for nearly a century and a half,” the president said.
