President Yudof to speak about proposed education budget cuts

University of California President Mark G. Yudof will speak Friday, May 6 at a Senate Budget Committee hearing on the economic and business impacts of proposed education budget cuts.
The President will talk about how UC plans to cope with a proposed state reduction of $500 million, and what an all-cuts budget would mean for the University. He will also discuss UC’s importance to communities throughout California, and to the state’s economic growth and development.
