Please join the Staff Advisory Board and Chancellor George Blumenthal for the Staff Appreciation Picnic on Tuesday, May 10th, from 11:30-1:30 p.m. on the East Field (OPERS).
This is an opportunity to express appreciation for the great work staff contributes to the campus throughout the year. The Picnic is an outdoor event and shade tents will be limited, so we encourage staff to bring a hat and/or sunscreen. Blankets are welcome if you would like to sit on the grass.

We need your RSVP by Monday, May 2nd. (Your RSVP is VERY IMPORTANT. We want to ensure that we have enough food for everyone attending.)
Some highlights of the event are:
* We will be presenting the "Outstanding Staff of the Year Award" offered by the Alumni Office.
* Our own UCSC Catering will be providing a delicious lunch which offers many choices and utilizes a variety of locally grown, organic menu items.
* Musical entertainment provided by staff musicians
* A raffle will be held every 15 minutes for great prizes
* Booths displaying staff services, benefits, and activities on campus
Due to limited availability of campus shuttles, we are providing free parking in the East Remote Parking lot from 11-2 p.m. for staff who work off-campus. We encourage those coming from off-campus to carpool with their co-workers so as to limit the amount of cars.
