Two Cowell students awarded scholarships for study abroad

Two students were recently awarded Cowell College Scholarships for their upcoming study abroad experiences.

Alina Langford (marine biology, '11) and Leslie Chavez (literature, '11) will each be awarded $1,500, which will be integrated into their financial aid package provided they participate as planned in the Education Abroad Program.

Langford will travel to Australia to study marine biology and terrestrial ecology at the University of Queensland's School of Biological Sciences; Chavez will travel to France to study French language and culture at the University of Bordeaux.
