Access to health services and counseling during winter campus closure

To: UCSC Campus Community

From: Mary Knudtson, Executive Director, Student Health Services

As you prepare for the upcoming campus closure, we acknowledge that the fall quarter may have been difficult for many students, staff, and faculty, given the financial and other stressors in the current climate. Some people may experience emotional and physical reactions at the end of the quarter and during the holidays. Student Health Services is available to provide assistance for students until the start of the campus closure, and there are other resources in the community for students to access when the campus is closed. Everyone is encouraged to use self-care and support systems to maintain your physical and emotional health and wellness during the break.
